About the Artist

Rhonda, a second generation artist, picked up a pencil at the age of four and discovered a passion for the human image. Rhonda not only has the ability to paint or draw what she sees, but is able to reach into the soul of her subject, painting each person with her strong spiritual conviction as if she has known them for years. While portraitures are her primary focus, she is equally well known for her afro centric pen and inks, and pencils. New to the Fort Myers area, Rhonda is a member of the Fort Myers Art League. Currently Rhonda has donated her works locally to Twilight Wish Organization in Naples, Footsteps to the Future, and most recently, Lee Memorial Regional Cancer Center and Quality Life Center in Fort Myers, Florida.

Quality Life Center, through a holistic approach, strives to help children and families manage their day-to-day challenges and to help those in need gain a better quality life.
