About the Artist

Sue, based out of Naples, also happens to the sister of St. Matthew’s House’s Administrative Assistant, Dee Sammons. Sue’s favorite type of painting is that of a scenic view, painted directly onto walls. Oval windows have a brick façade painted around them. Beautiful underwater scenes full of detail and bursting with color. We had a quick discussion of what we envisioned, and then gave her plenty of room to embellish and add her own flair to our chairs. Sue put close to 40 years of painting expertise into her creation, and we’re thrilled her touch is now part of such an exciting event.

About the Charity

St. Matthew’s House/Immokalee Friendship House provides housing for the homeless, food for the needy, and an opportunity to change lives in a spiritual environment that is both compassionate and disciplined.
