The #13 “Freedom Isn’t Free” rocking chair was designed and painted by Herocare CFO, Alan Gonzalez. A US Army veteran himself, Alan painted these chairs as a tribute to America’s heroes, past and present, who have sacrificed greatly to provide and preserve the sacred freedoms Americans enjoy every day. Herocare is proud to serve our nation’s heroes and appreciates all who support our cause to “serve those who serve.”

About the Charity

Herocare is a non-profit dedicated to addressing the housing and financial needs of essential service workers across the United States. To be eligible for the services of Herocare, one must be a retired or active employee of Government - City, County, State and Federal Military - All Branches and All Veterans including National Guard, Reserves and Coast Guard; Schools Systems - Public and Private; Medical Systems - Public and Private; First Responders - Fire, Law Enforcement and Paramedics; 501(c)(3) Non Profit Organizations. Anyone who is now retired and who previously served in one of the above careers is eligible.
