October, 1st, 2009 -- Fort Myers, Florida -- Fort Myers Auto Repair Company, Ft. Myers Toyota, new Certified Collision Center has decided to utilize waterborne technology with the help of FinishMaster, the leading national distributor of automotive paints, coatings and paint-related accessories, and its waterborne division, WaterMasters. The Certified Collision Center will be using environmentally friendly waterborne basecoat as part of its repair process.

Ft. Myers Toyota will open the most advanced collision center in the Southeast United States designed to be a green example to all.
FORT MYERS, Florida—Ft. Myers Toyota announces that their new collision center will open in September and will add up to 20 new jobs to the Ft. Myers community. The Toyota-Certified facility will be housed in a 25,000 square-foot building and is designed to set the standard for other collision centers in the Southeast United States on going green. It will feature water-borne paint, supplied by DuPont Refinish Automotive Paint Systems which helps reduce Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC) emissions by 70%. The paint is also thicker, has more pigment and allows for better coverage.
